EVENT OVERVIEW

It is estimated that Australia’s population aged 65 and over will more than double by 2054-55. This puts enormous pressure on Australia’s economic and social costs. Chandler MacLeod’s research Coming of Age found that 44% of employers are unprepared for the impact of an ageing population.

As Australia’s ageing population is increasing, people are also living longer. Research by Deloitte Access Economy estimates that a 5% lift in paid employment among workers aged 55 and over would add an extra $48 billion in GDP. However, whilst recruiting and engaging older workers have proven benefits for both employers and employees, it also comes with significant challenges.

Are you struggling to optimise your older workforce ?

Do you need help getting successful strategies and policies in place ?

This conference examines current ageing workforce trends and provides organisations with innovative tools to optimise their workforce. This event focuses on strategies to support and engage older workers for strategic advantage.
